Painted on Thanksgiving

                                                                                                      Acrylic, 6x6"

I painted this cupcake on Thanksgiving afternoon.  Somehow I didn't have a large appetite for Thanksgiving dinner.  Guess what I did before dinner....!

Thanks, Mary and Anonymous. Who are you, Anonymous? Just wondering. Watchers, I can tell you who Mary Maxam is....she is a wonderful oil painter. Check out her blog, she has just finished the most wonderful portrait in a very loose style.

Thanks, Carol. I appreciate your being here, and seeing you comments provides a certain relief to me, you can imagine.

Thanks, Mom. Glad the painting made you want a cupcake....but I said I PAINTED it, I never said I baked it!

Just stopped by to visit your blog, and I love your work and the philosophy of "painting like nobody's watching" - that's a great attitude for those of us who are still getting used to putting our work out in the public eye.

Your paintings are beautiful. I really enjoy your loose, exhuberant style! Best wishes, and keep painting!
