"Emerging" Acrylic Painting

Acrylic, 6x8"
$95 plus shipping

If you have been reading my blog for awhile, you may have seen this painting before, because I have posted it before, I think in November.   It's making an appearance again because I decided to sell it through Daily Paintworks.
Is everybody digging out?  I couldn't resist the temptation to post a reminder of warmer, steamier days ahead!   I actually think artists around the blogosphere are beginning to feel the same way.  I was delighted to receive a notification from a new artist friend, Patricia Powers, who posted a painting of a surfer, probably just as I was writing these words about trying to remind us all of warmer days via this painting!  Gotta love it! (P.S. to my Mom and sisters, don't you just LOVE her blog name???  Check it out!)

Meredith, I love the brilliant shade of green. What colors did you mix to achieve it?

Lovely painting. I am always so tentative with greens but this is so gorgeous.

Oh, thanks, guys! Glad you like the greens. Jerry, there's a bunch of different mixes in there, and since I painted this in the fall, I would venture a guess that it's ultramarine blue with cad yellow light with varying amounts of permanent alizarin crimson. I will email you in case you don't make it back to see this comment.

Hi Meredith, I love these greens, they are so inspiring - just what I needed to look at today. We are expecting higher temperatures later this week and hopefully they will chase away all the snow. I can't wait to see green.
