Well, I got so relaxed about this whole thing that I forgot to post my last painting to Leslie's blog until today! I think that's great. Focus on the painting process, that's what I say...
Thanks to Steve Lyddon at Paint my Photo for the use of the photo which inspired this painting!
And thank you all for being here...

love the yellow in this! You paint lovely landscapes, Meredith, I find them incredibly challenging. The 30 day challenge is a great way to practice!
Beautiful painting..great aerial perspective!!!Love the composition!!!
Love this. You have come a long way. It just proves that practice makes close to perfect.
You know I'm a sucker for a beautiful landscape. Love all the lights and shadows. So glad you are enjoying the challenge. Very proud of you!
Thanks, everyone. You guys made my day today! I wish I could show you the real painting. Sometimes I feel the images I take give me more credit than I deserve and sometimes I feel the painting looks much better. This is one case where I think the painting looks much better...oh well :)
What really matters is your creation!!! What you read in your inspirational reference is yours and maybe not what was intended. You deserve being true to your interpretation. We see your creation and not the reference!!!
This is so vibrant Meredith! I love what you have been doing for the challenge. You have a great style!
Isn't Steve the best!! Plus he is a really super guy and artist as well. Oh I just adore your greens and am jealous of the landscapes. As said above the improvement and comfort is showing.
Yes, Nelvia, Steve has been just wonderful to me! Thanks for noticing the strides I am making.
After Majestic, this is my next favorite! I have such a hard time with
getting a good variety in my greens--this painting does it!
